SAFETY MANAGER

Health and Safety Manager/Advisor who is registered with the board of SACPCMP. An effective and highly trained Safety Manager with 10 years’ experience overseeing safety teams and facilitating monthly safety meetings at multiple job sites to maintain an optimally safe working environment. Utilizes knowledge of safety policies to ensure alignment with current government regulations. Makes required changes and develops response strategies to keep safety risks to a minimum. Oversees organizational health and safety policies, creates programs and communicates guidelines while conducting analyses of current systems and updating as needed. Communicates safety metrics to on-site managers and instructs them on how to improve. As part of my work, I have travelled to various locations within South Africa partaking in numerous projects. Also achieved 100% on safety audits under Joburg Water projects.
